A 30-day course to
help people navigate
through depression

"Out of The Woods" is a comprehensive treatment program for people with depression that can be taken either on its own or in tandem with therapy.

Each day will have a certain number of videos to watch and tasks to complete, many of which are derived directly from techniques used in therapy, but it will all be baked into a story that simulates a journey.

The course is designed to be a narrative that the viewer takes part in. So the story will reflect struggles participants are likely to be facing, but it's also meant to guide them into resolving those problems and moving their own stories forward.

The narrative will be told through a blend of animations that take place in "The Woods" and videos that are set in the real world. The goal is to empower participants to think about their struggles as a hero's journey, one they can start regardless of their circumstances.

Everyone's depression is unique. The course doesn't offer one simple answer on how to overcome one's Black Dog. Instead it will help participants gain insight into their relationship with depression and teach them the tools they will need to get "Out of The Woods" by themselves.
